African room bathroom
The old wooden doors of the African Room open onto the courtyard, and the original thick walls make it cooler in summer and warmer in winter (there is a heater for winter nights.)
The room has a double bed (140x190cm).
The wardrobe doors are from the Dogon people of Mali, and the three masks with metal plaques from the Warka tribe. A Tuareg tent peg recalls the desert caravan route to Marrakech.
The bathroom is in tadelakt, with a nickel sink, and an external window.
