The Kilim Room

On the first floor, off the loggia, is the Kilim Room. The room can be used either as a King double or a twin (2 beds each 90 x 185cm) and has reversible air-conditioning, ideal for the summer and providing heating for winter nights.

On the floor is a large old Caucasian kilim or flatweave, once used as a wall hanging. Framed on the walls are a child’s ceremonial smock and a nineteenth century textile fragment of Ikat, both from Uzbekistan.

The tadelakt bathroom has a large shower, an old Moroccan mirror above the nickel sink, and an external window.
