The Baluchi Room

On the first floor, off the loggia, this room has a double bed which can be separated into two single beds, a comfortable 80cm width each. There is reversible air-conditioning, ideal for the summer, and providing heating for winter nights. 

Framed on the wall, the natural colours of an old Baluchi bag for protecting a Qur’an or valuable book complement the child’s ceremonial ‘chain-mail’ smock from Uzbekistan. On the floor are Moroccan Beni Ouaraine rugs.

The large bathroom has a tadlakdt shower, a nickel sink, and two windows, one to the courtyard, and a small one to the ‘derb’ or lane leading to the back door of the riad
